Quality of life/wage levels for young, rural professionals:

Description

Many young, educated professionals in the Discovery Region make significantly lower wages for their work than urban counterparts. This, combined with a lack of affordable housing, is leading them to move. There may also be an undervaluing of non-trades professions in regions undergoing industrial developments. This project could include a study of the situation of educated, non-skilled trades workers in the Discovery Zone, as well as an assessment of what could be done to help these young workers remain in their communities.
