Best collaboration practices: Applying global experiences to local Western Newfoundland initiatives

Description

Collaboration is a necessary instrument which helps people, groups and sectors move forward their goals and objectives, including those from the public, private, non-profit and education sectors. Collaboration happens all the time in Western Newfoundland, but maybe there are some lessons that could be learned from elsewhere regarding collaboration, which could be applied to the region. Perhaps research could examine what collaboration techniques work in other areas around the world, and see if they could be applied to the Harris Centre Regional Workshop: Western Newfoundland 22 region. In addition, perhaps linkages between people and organizations outside the province could be made with those within the province, creating lasting partnerships for the future.
