Social Enterprise Research / Training Materials

Description

Social enterprises (business opportunities undertaken by the not-for-profit sector) are an effective tool in growing regional economies. Many of the Municipalities and not-for-profit organizations that could pursue this option do not because they lack awareness of the social enterprise model and / or lack the capacity to realize these opportunities. The Newfoundland and Labrador Regional Economic Development Association (NLREDA) would like to collect and disseminate materials to municipalities and NGOs that might help them advance social enterprises. NLREDA would do this at no cost to the community and already has a library of share materials online at www.nlreda.ca. NLREDA would like to collect any materials Memorial faculty, students or staff feel could assist community groups and that the author is prepared to share. These materials might include: course notes, case studies, templates, reports, slide shows, etc. studies
