I’m a technically well-rounded soul who started as a crab fisherman in the 1990s, working through university. I earned an English degree before doing my Masters in Marine Studies and then caught the bug and went abroad to teach ESL in Korea for some years. Returning in 2010, I’ve since been a fisheries acoustics analyst, and now a field tech specializing in small vessels. I'm also experienced with industrial drones, artificial reefs and custom project builds using SBCs like Raspberry Pi, and general coastal project facilitation. Currently I am committed full-time to work on a project in Placentia Bay under MI’s Coastal Restoration Fund project.
