Lay Summary

The objective of the project is to focus on the current need and future demand for qualified social workers by addressing the acute shortage of social work teachers in Vietnam. This will allow for the overall improvement of health and social equity for disadvantaged groups, contributing to the further reduction of poverty in the country. Research on social and health issues of the two countries will be conducted.

This project extends the results of the previous Tier 2 project entitled “Poverty reduction by improving social services and health.”
