Utilization of Family Physicians in the H1N1 Vaccination Programs of Canadian Provinces in 2009

Lay Summary

This project will involve a survey of representative samples of family physicians from all Canadian provinces and territories. It will seek to determine the degree of involvement of family doctors in the 2009 H1N1 vaccination program across Canada. The research will also identify the barriers and facilitators to the involvement of the family physicians, and will determine whether they wish to be involved in future pandemic vaccination programs. More than 5.000 family physicians will be surveyed.
