Lay Summary
Wire and wireless based sensor systems will be used to develop a unique methodology to monitor real time operating conditions as well as material loss of operational Asset. Real time data will be used to quantify real time risk. The computed real time risk will determine maintenance management and loss prevention. This would require development of risk-based asset management methodology, integrity assessment models and testing pilot plant. A tabletop pilot setup will be developed in Memorial's Health Safety and Environmental laboratory facilities to test this approach.
