Charging the Battery: Creating a Graduate Living Learning Community

Lay Summary 

This is a pilot project to create a multi- and interdisciplinary, vibrant Living Learning Community at the Battery Facility. Mentored by senior scholars and community partners, the focus is on enabling and encouraging student research and learning while fulfilling the mandate of the Battery Facility as a nexus of creativity and public engagement. In addition to coursework in their chosen programmes, Battery LLC students will participate in co-curricular activities focused on community issues.
