Lay Summary
Cancers of the head and neck are solid tumors arising in the oral cavity, oropharynx, hypopharynx, larynx, and nasopharynx. Unfortunately, there are few biomarkers that can be reliably used either in early detection of this disease, or as indicators of patient outcome. This study will utilize genome-wide measurements of tumor DNA to better classify sub-types of this disease in order to improve patient treatment and outcome.
