Adaptive Space-time Coding for Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) antennas

Lay Summary 

The main outcome of this project is a set of efficient wireless transmission techniques with high bit rate and stringent quality of service. These techniques can easily be adopted in wireless local area networks (WLANs), cellular networks, and broadband wireless access networks (WiMAX). We use both mathematical analysis and software simulation for performance analysis. The main idea behind these techniques is to adjust the coding robustness based on the channel characteristics to achieve the maximum transmission rate with the highest robustness. Results of this project have been published in several conference and journal publications.
