Review of the Terra Nova Development Project Environmental Impact Statement

Lay Summary

The approach that the Society has taken in the review has been to invite any interested members to participate in the Review. About ten individuals read through those parts of the EIS about which they had an interest and brought their comments to the Society's Terra Nova Committee. Areas of concern were identified and university graduate students with some experience in the areas of interest were contracted to do follow up research and report back to the Committee.

Professional consultants were contracted to provide summary reports to the Committee in some areas. The material included in the Review represents a compilation of the contracted studies and areas of concern raised through the process described.
